Packout Operator (SHI2/SHI3/ROI 2nd shift)
2nd shift
GENERAL SUMMARY: Under close supervision performs repetitive packaging/shipping activities.
- Removes all suspect units from packaging (rejects, weight algorithms, etc.)
- Re-images all units deemed rework required
- Pulls any LAT re-samples
- Coordinates all movement of material in and out of physical sorts
- Ensures accuracy of all quantities on tote labels/master pallet labels prior to release from SHP
- Ensures accuracy of all quantities on tote labels/master pallet labels prior to release from Packout area
- Bands and utilizes pallet lift or forklift to move all material to staging area for movement to B2 warehouse.
Ability:
Must be able to be forklift certified.
Must have packing system knowledge.
Must have IAP system knowledge.
Must have LSSR system knowledge.
Good communication skills, written and oral required.
Knowledge of manufacturing, rework and preventative maintenance instructions.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience:
1 year of related manufacturing experience, inflator manufacturing experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
ZF Mesa Operations screening process for this area includes a 10 panel substance abuse screening test that includes testing for THC.
